You’ve been appointed as a Project Manager to a project where the team morale is low, due to paying their salary late.

In fact it's two month behind.

    What would you do?

It is a very interesting challenge that I love accept.

The first that I will do is to concentrate on inspiring and motivating the team in order to charge them. At the same time, I will fight for them to get them their rights. I will work on getting true commitments from my management to pay the outstanding loans to the employees within a very short time. I will make it clear to the management that I can only guarantee my success and the success of my team, if and only if this issue is solved to meet employees wishes.

Compensation is one of the factor which brings synergy but could not be the only reason. Getting the salary a little late could bring some challenge to the employee but mere making it a huddle i would rather bring some solution to my peer group i,e managing self expenses.

On the other side I'll also bring this challenge into notice of top level management so that collectively we can sort this problem.

I would only accept the challenge if the management accepted to pay at least one month wages, and is because the team have familys and that is something we cannot forget, then i would motivate them to do better and  faster to provide an outstanding job so they coul get the rest of the wages.
